iFilm, Tajikistan forge partnership for joint film production

iFilm TV network and Tajikistan have embarked on a cinematic collaboration as they set their sights on creating a joint film.

This groundbreaking venture has recently advanced to the significant stage of reaching a memorandum of understanding.

The journey towards this partnership began in February 2023, when fruitful negotiations transpired between iFilm Network and Tajikistan.

The discussions took place in the presence of the head of the IRIB's World Service, Director of iFilm Network, Director General of International Relations at iFilm and the Tajik Ambassador, fostering a positive atmosphere for progress.

An integral step in the development of the project involves the translation of the script from Russian to Persian.

This crucial task will enable effective communication during subsequent screenplay council meetings, where the script will be thoroughly examined and debated.

Adding to the project's significance is the presence of Tajik director Muhiddine Muzzafer.

Muzzafer’s involvement has propelled the collaboration to new heights, culminating in the imminent signing of the memorandum of understanding.
